Welcome to Airville State School

Airville State School, a short 10 minute drive from Ayr, is a small, rural school nestled amongst cane fields on Old Clare Road, close to the Burdekin River.  We have been offering quality educational opportunities since 1890.  Within our multi-level class groupings, we continually strive for excellence through providing  essential, meaningful and relevant learning experiences for our Prep to Year 6 students.
With the support of our families, school community and our dedicated and experienced staff we provide students with a learning environment that is safe, positive, caring and supportive.  Children are encouraged to be the best that they can be in all that they do.
The staff, students and parents extend a warm welcome to you and extend an invitation to you to explore our school further through our website.  Airville State School is a great, small school where everyone’s contributions and differences are accepted and valued.
We welcome your interest in our school and encourage you to read more about our school.
Enrolments are taken all year round.  Please phone 07 4790 7333 to arrange enrolment interviews.  If the office is not attended please leave a message on our answering machine with your contact details for us to make a return call or contact the school via the principal on:
