Meet Our Amazing Team
At Airville State School, we are incredibly proud of our dedicated and passionate staff. Our small team makes a big impact, working together to provide a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment for every child.
Leading our school is Principal Mrs Marian Bugeja, who plays a vital role in guiding, supporting, and inspiring both students and staff. Her calm leadership and strong focus on student wellbeing set the tone for a safe and inclusive learning environment.
In the classroom, Ms Deborah Blomley and Mrs Kris Sutcliffe deliver rich, engaging learning experiences across our multi-age groups. They work part-time, bringing their expertise and energy to every lesson. Their ability to connect with students and personalise learning ensures every child feels supported and challenged.
We’re also lucky to have a team of dedicated teacher aides: Mrs Anita Hughes (full-time), Mrs Rita Butler, Mrs Kirstyn Murphy, Mrs Carlene Muilwyk, and Ms Lisa Purcell. Their support in the classroom is invaluable—helping with one-on-one learning, small group work, and the smooth running of each day. Whether full-time or part-time, each aide brings warmth, patience, and enthusiasm to their role.
Together, our staff live the Airville Way every day—Be confident, Be respectful, Be responsible, Be positive, Be proud, and always be your best—and inspire our students to do the same.
