School uniform & dress regulations
We have a unisex school uniform consisting of:
A blue Airville shirt only available by purchase through the P&C.
A blue Airville hat only available by purchase through the P&C.
Black shorts
Closed in shoes
White or pale blue socks.
Children are required to wear the correct school uniform each day of the week.
Winter clothing may consist of:
The same items as above with the following additions for comfort and warmth:
Long pants or leggings – preferably in the navy blue
A coat / jumper / pullover / skivvy / whatever is appropriate for warmth – preferably in a blue tone.
As the cold days are limited in our climate, although the preference is for the above colours in long pants and coats, it is more important for your child to be warm than to be colour co-ordinated.
The preference for wearing the warm clothes over uniform shirts and shorts has been added as many children find their warm clothes make them too hot as the day progresses.
Wet weather considerations
Children are permitted to wear rubber thongs or some other footwear that can be wet without causing damage to them.
The school uniform is still to be worn. Children may need a raincoat or an umbrella on these days.
Uniform free days occur on the last day of each term. Clothing must be sunsafe and suitable for school wear.
