Located in the heart of the Burdekin's beautiful rural landscape and surrounded by sugarcane fields, our small school fosters strong connections between students, staff, and families. With a current enrolment of just 17 students and an exceptional adult-to-student ratio, each child receives the individual attention they deserve in a calm and caring environment.
Exceptional Value with No Hidden Costs
Airville State School is committed to being accessible and affordable for all families. Every student receives an annual pack at no cost, which includes:
- A school uniform shirt and hat
- All textbooks and stationery
- Access to all excursions, events, and our annual school camp
- A variety of physical activity lessons with qualified coaches
- 1 hour swimming lessons in term 1 and 2
- A personal computer allocated to each student for classroom use
- Online learning programs: Science, Music, Drama, Dance and Japanese.
- Bully proof program to support students well being and safety
Outstanding Student Support
We understand the needs of busy families and go above and beyond to provide convenient, supportive services:
- Before school care from 8:00–9:00am with breakfast provided daily
- After school care from 3:00–4:00pm including afternoon tea and homework support
(All at no additional cost to families)
